"Kokoro" is a robot. "Joujou" is a little girl. "Kokoro and Joujou" are two characters created by the imagination of Federico Mariani. Together they form a funny and unique duo. They have a lot of friends with whom we share many adventures and this is their small great world.

"Kokoro" è un robot. "Joujou" è una piccola bimba. "Kokoro e Joujou" sono due personaggi creati dall'immaginazione di Federico Mariani. Insieme formano un buffo e particolare duo. Hanno molti amici con i quali condividere tante avventure e questo è il loro piccolo grande mondo.

Federico Mariani is an illustrator and toy designer. Born in July 1974, lives and works in Carpi in northern Italy.
Already in kindergarten he starts greedily devouring comics, he likes pictures, and he begins to understand that somehow this is the job he would like to do. The teachers say that he cannot draw. He has been working from 1996 in the advertising and web media and has been drawing and creating characters from the school age. In 2007 he became a freelance, to devote himself to children illustration and toys design. Also design"Kokoro & Joujou" two characters, created for kids and teenager. Among the clients he has worked for Mondadori Ragazzi, Edizioni EL, Editoriale Scienza, Grani & Partners/Preziosi Collection, Big & Small Peluches, Ellepi baby apparel.
Available for commissions or collaboration outside Italy and Characters Licensing. English spoken.

Federico Mariani è illustratore e toy designer. Nato nel luglio 1974, vive e lavora a Carpi, nel nord Italia.
Già ai tempi dell’asilo divora albi a fumetti come "il Corriere dei Piccoli", adora le figure illustrate e comincia a capire che in qualche modo vorrebbe fare quel mestiere lì. Le maestre dicono che non sa disegnare. Fin dall’età scolare disegna personaggi, fumetti e illustrazioni. Dal 1996 lavora nella comunicazione presso varie aziende e agenzie. Nel 2007 diventa freelance, per dedicarsi anche all’illustrazione per l’infanzia e al Toys Design... "Kokoro & Joujou" sono anche due personaggi creati per bambini e teenager. Fra i clienti con cui ha collaborato ci sono Mondadori Ragazzi, Edizioni EL, Editoriale Scienza, Grani & Partners/Preziosi Collection, Big & Small Peluches, Ellepi /Unitessile.
